HOW IT OPERATES
Small metal chips continuously and regularly fed into the centrifuge hopper by a feeding conveyor. The chips slide into the fast spinning wringer bowl and are accelerated upto the bowl’s RPM. High centrifugal forces drive the chips up the bowl’s side wall and over the coolant exit slots and pores towards the upper edge of the bowl. In this process the coolant is swings off the chips and forced out via the coolant exit slots. The dried chips pass over the upper edge of the bowl and are out via the wringer housing and disĀcharge hopper into an extractor conveyor or swarf bin.
DESIGN FEATURES
Unique Products Model UP-50, UP-500 and UP-1000 are designed and constructed to offer high performance, maximum reliability, long life and with no maintenance. The bowl is from special alloy steel, using high precision machining techniques and is heat treated to suit, the function. The main shaft and bearing housing is a high speed spindle assembly, treated the total assembly is mounted on antivibration pads resulting in life enhancement of the unit
